Team Thoughtcorp fights Heart Disease

Jun 06
2011
In typical Thoughtcorp fashion we kicked off our inaugural Ride for Heart with a bang.  Twenty two members strong (triple our recruiting goals) and raising $8300.00 for Heart and Stroke research (more than quadruple our fundraising goals).

Riders took to the Gardiner and DVP (sorry drivers :p) to complete 25, 50 and 75 km routes.

The weather was fantastic and more than 15,000 riders made their way up and down the highways.  The DVP never flowed so smoothly.

Our two directors showed up in full spandex kits and fancy bikes.  Completing the 75km in 2.5hours or averaging a blistering 30km/h. That’s my shameless plug for our cycling prowess.

We’ve set the bar high for next year, but I’m sure we’re up for the challenge!  I’d like to see some of our clients join us next year at the 25th anniversary of the Becel Ride for Heart.

But enough jibba jabba…here’s some pics.
